The amount of growth that has occurred in computer technology in the past half century is in real sense staggering and totally unprecedented in all the fields. In this high-tech era, computer technology is encapsulating all spheres of human needs and aspirations."

	Computer Engineering department has developed Slate-of-art laboratories in the various fields of computer engineering.

	Department of Computer Engineering was established in the college in 2007 with bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering was started with an intake of 60.We have common laboratories and a department library with reference books.

	Computer science department is having 13 teaching faculty, out of them 3 are Professors, 2 are associative Professors and 8 are Assistant Professors. Department is having 5 doctorates.

	The area of Expertise/Research are Computer Organization, Operating System, Computer Networks, Dadbase Management Systems, UNIX and Shell Programming, Data Warehousing and Darta Mining, Mobile Computing, Moblile and Ad hoc Networks, Network Security, Digital Image Processing, Image and Information Retrieval, Pattern Reognition, neural Networks etc.

	Department has 300 state of the art computers. There are 3 well established laboratories with high end servers and UPS.
