Dr. V.Venkateswara Reddy is currently working as  Professor of Civil Engineering & Principal at JNTUH College of Engineering, Nachupally, Jagtial District, Telangana, India. He has 25 years of teaching, training and research experience in various fields. He has served the university in various capacities like Vice-Principal at JNTUH College of Engineering, Sultanpur, Sanga Reddy District, Coordinator at Bureau of  Industrial Consultancy Services, JNTUH Hyderabad, Project Engineer at JNTU College of Engineering, Anantapur and JNTU College of Engineering, Pulivendula, Head of the Department at JNTU College of Engineering, Pulivendula  and Officer In charge of Academic Section at JNTU College of Engineering, Anantapur.  He was a Principal Investigator for a research project sanctioned by UGC. He has guided many student for projects at graduate, post graduate and PhD levels. His research  areas include Concrete Technology and Environmental Pollution.  Under his guidance 8 students have obtained Ph.D., and 5 students are pursuing Ph.D.   He has authored a text book on Elements of Civil Engineering. He has published 31 research papers in various International and National Journals. He participated and presented research papers in International and National Conferences. He has organized and participated in workshops/ seminars and training programs. He has obtained his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from the Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi. M.Tech in Environmental Engineering from Mysore University and PhD in Civil Engineering from the JNTU University, Hyderabad.

As a General Secretary of JNTU CEA teachers association and Treasurer of thrift association of JNTUH he has contributed to the welfare of the teaching faculty. He was a member of Pollution Control Board.
