Dr. S.Viswanadha Raju is a Senior Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at JNTUH UCEJ, Jagtial, since July 7, 2020. Prior to this, he served as a Professor in the same department from July 7, 2010to July 7, 2020. He also held a position as a Professor in CSE at GRIET, Hyderabad from February 11, 2009 to July 6, 2010.With over 28 years of academic experience, Dr. Raju has held several key leadership positions, including Vice Principal and IQAC Coordinator at JNTUH UCEJ Jagtial (2016–2021), Director of MCA at GRIET (2008–2010), and Head of the CSE Department at JNTUH UCEJ (2011–2015).

Dr. Raju Completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur (2008), an MTech in Computer Science from JNTU Hyderabad (2003), an MCA from Osmania University, Hyderabad (1996). Additionally, he holds a CMI Level 5 professional certification in Education Leadership and Management from MHRD-AICTE and UKIERI/Dudley College, London.

Dr. Raju has been honoured with several prestigious awards, including the State Best Teacher Award (2020) from the Government of Telangana, the ISTE Best Computer Science Engineering Award (2014), an Appreciation certificate from the District Collector of Jagtial (2019), and a few more. His research spans areas such as AI/ML, IoT, biometrics, and Quality in Higher Education, leading to 9 Indian patents published and 2 international patents granted. His work has contributed significantly to educational system reforms and accreditation processes. Dr. Raju Guided 17 Ph.D. scholars and currently supervising 5 more. He has published over 120 research articles in renowned journals and conferences. His academic contributions also include 5 books, such as OBE Implementation in Engineering and Programming for Problem-Solving, etc, and 11 book chapters, 2 AICTE Research projects, and a TEQIP project.

Dr. Raju is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and a life member of ISTE, IETE, CSI, and IACSIT. He has delivered over 220 invited talks on technical and accreditation topics. In terms of academic governance, Dr. Raju has served as a Member of the Governing Body for 9 colleges, an Academic Council for 8 colleges, and a Board of Studies for CSE and allied branches at approximately 25 colleges in the last 14 years. He has also been nominated by AICTE as an expert for assessments with UGC, NBA, NAAC, enhancing the effectiveness of IT Consultants across the AICTE Bureau and e-Governance cells, and JNTUH.  Dr. Raju has organized numerous academic events and participated in global academic exchanges in Singapore and Taiwan.

Dr. Raju has contributed to global academic reforms through visits to Singapore and Taiwan.
