Dr. B. Sateesh Kumar is a highly accomplished academician with an extensive background in the field of computer science and engineering. With a total teaching experience spanning more than two decades, he has established himself as a respected educator in the academic community of JNTUH.

Currently serving as the Head of the Department (HOD) of the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department at JNTUH University College of Engineering Jagtial, He plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational and research endeavours of the Department.

His journey in academia began in the early 2000s when he assumed the position of Assistant Professor and later, the Head of Department, at PIRMEC (Patnam Indra Reddy Memorial Engineering College) from 2002 to 2004, located in Chevella, Hyderabad. Subsequently, he joined JBREC (Joginpally Bhaskar Rao Engineering College) as an Assistant Professor, Head of the Department, and Training and Placement Officer (TPO) from 2004 to 2006, situated in Moinabad, Hyderabad.

His contributions to JNTUH UCEJ (JNTUH University College of Engineering, Jagtial) include serving as the Deputy Warden, Hostel Manager, and TPO. Beyond his direct institutional responsibilities, he is actively engaged as a Board of Studies (BOS) member for several esteemed institutions, including ACE Engineering College, MEGHA INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY and Sree Dattha Institute of Engineering and Science, where he imparts his valuable insights to curriculum development and educational policy.

In addition to his notable roles and achievements, Dr. Kumar's outstanding efforts have been honored with awards, including the Mater educator in Academic Leadership Award by AIMER Society(2024), Jyeshta Acharya Award by Bharathy Education Excellence(2024), Vishista Seva Puraskar from JNTUHCEJ in 2011, the Bharath Jyoti Award from IIFS Delhi in 2011, and the Best Teacher Award from JBREC, Moinabad, in 2006.

An achievement that further underscores his expertise is his role as an Oracle Academy Official Instructor since May 2016. He has been certified by Oracle Academy to teach Database Management Systems (DBMS) and Java programming. He has successfully trained over 1000 students in these areas, leveraging his expertise and the resources provided by Oracle Academy.

Beyond his core roles, Dr. B. Sateesh Kumar's influence extends through various engagements: He has served as a Governing Body Member for several institutions, including DRK Institute of Science and Technology, Medchal, Hyderabad, Telangana, and PullaReddy Institute of Pharmacy,Hyderabad, Telangana, and a member of Board of Studies (BoS) for several esteemed institutions.

Dr. B. Sateesh Kumar's contributions to academia have garnered recognition, particularly his accolade from TASK (Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge) for outstanding training in Java Programming, further affirming his impact on students' skill development and readiness for the tech industry. As an addition to his academic excellence, he has numerous publications in various National and International Conferences and has organized several Refresher Programs, STTPs, FDPs and Workshops and is the Session Chair for several National and International Conferences.
